IS IT OK TO EAT WHOLEGRAIN CARBS IF I'M TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT.

Brown rice, bread and pasta all contain fibre and are generally more nutritious than  there white counterparts, but they are still high in carbohydrates. If you are overweight, you probably consume excess carbs already, so large quantities won't help, especially when you get all the carbs and fibre you need by eating fruit and veg. If you cannot live without brown carbs, eat them in small quantities to refuel after a fat-burning workout in the gym.
